"Paris Saint-Germain" confirmed the purchase of Rosario Central midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The Argentine signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions, but will spend the first part of the upcoming season in his homeland.
It is believed that the value of the deal is 10 million euros, with an additional 4 million euros for the player's team in the form of bonuses.
"I am happy to have signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain," said Lo Celso. "I will soon join one of the most important clubs in Europe, which includes excellent footballers, including my compatriots Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore."
"I hope to follow in their footsteps and become an important player for my future club."
Meanwhile, Lo Celso is preparing for the Olympics with the Argentine U-23 national team.
