Official: PSG has invited J. Neves

The Paris "Saint Germain" team has strengthened its midfield.

It has been officially announced that the "Ligue 1" team has invited Joao Neves, a representative from Lisbon's "Benfica".

The promising player cost the French club a hefty sum – 70 million euros were paid for him.

"I am proud to have the opportunity to join this highly ambitious PSG club. I will give everything to help my teammates and develop in this fantastic club while winning many titles," explained J. Neves, who has signed a five-year contract.

"We are very pleased to welcome the midfielder to the PSG family. J. Neves is one of the most talented players in Portugal and the whole world," said the team's director Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
