Official: R. Funes Mori moves to "Everton"

Liverpool's "Everton" confirmed that they have acquired Buenos Aires "River Plate" defender Ramiro Funes Mori.

The 24-year-old Argentine signed a five-year contract, with a transfer fee of £9.5 million sterling paid to "irisams."

Since 2011, the footballer has played over 100 matches with "River Plate" and recently won the "Copa Libertadores."

The defender became the last purchase of coach Roberto Martinez this summer and will join other new players Tom Cleverley, Gerardo Deulofeu, David Henen, Mason Holgate, and Leandro Rodriguez.

Funes Mori is expected to join the team not as a replacement for John Stones, but as a reinforcement.
