Recently, rumors about the dismissal of Rudi Garcia from the position of head coach of "Roma" have been confirmed.
"Roma" announced on their official website that they have parted ways with the 51-year-old specialist from France. Along with him, Frederic Bompard and Claude Fichaux are also leaving the team in the Italian capital.
"On behalf of myself and the club, I want to thank Rudi Garcia and his assistants for the hard work they have done with the team. We have experienced great moments, but now it is time for changes," said club president Jim Pallotta.
The former "Lille" coach has been leading the "Roma" team since 2013 and became Italian vice-champions twice.
According to reports, R. Garcia will be replaced in the "Giallorossi" team by former Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti. The Italian has already managed the Rome team from 2005 to 2009.
