After less than five months at the helm of Birmingham's "Aston Villa," Remi Garde is leaving by mutual agreement.
The team bid farewell to the coach at the end of the season and will likely also say goodbye to the Premier League, as they currently occupy the last place in the league.
The team will be temporarily coached by Eric Black, who joined the team in January.
Lately, "Villa" has lost six consecutive matches and scored only two goals during them. They are currently 12 points away from safety.
Throughout this season, Birmingham's eleven has only managed to achieve three victories.
Interestingly, in the past several years, "Aston Villa" has had five coaches, not counting those who took over temporarily. The longest-serving among them was Paul Lambert, who stayed for just over 12 months.
