On Wednesday, "Barcelona" officially presented their new head coach, as expected, Ronald Koeman. The 57-year-old coach, who previously led the Netherlands national team, signed a contract with the Catalan club until the summer of 2022. Koeman will replace Quique Setien at the helm of "Barca", who was dismissed after a shameful defeat in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. The Dutchman played for "Barcelona" as a footballer from 1989 to 1995. As a coach, Koeman has led clubs such as "Everton", "Southampton", "Feyenoord", "Valencia", "Ajax", PSV, and "Benfica". The new Catalan strategist will be introduced to the media at a special press conference on Wednesday evening.
