Official: R. Lewandowski signed a new contract with Munich's "Bayern"

Munich's "Bayern" team announced on Thursday that longtime team player Robert Lewandowski has signed a new contract with the club.

The 31-year-old Pole's new contract will be valid until the summer of 2023. The old striker's contract would have expired two years earlier.

"FC Bayern Munich has become a real home for me. In addition, both me and my family are very happy with life in Munich.

"I am convinced that the club's goals in the coming years will be very high. Bayern is one of the top three clubs in the world. We have an amazing team and I am happy to be a part of it," said R. Lewandowski after signing the contract.

The Polish national team striker has been playing for Bayern since 2014 and during this time has played 246 matches and scored 197 goals.
