Romelu Lukaku has returned to London's "Chelsea" club after nine years, it has been officially announced. The Belgian moved to "Chelsea" from Milan's "Inter" for a sum of £97.5 million, according to the press. The London club has been looking for a striker in the transfer market for some time, after saying goodbye to O. Giroud, and last season Timo Werner didn't live up to the expectations placed on the German. Initially, "Chelsea" had focused on E. Haaland, but failed to reach an agreement with "Borussia," and then attention turned to R. Lukaku. About this transfer, R. Lukaku commented: "It was a long journey for me. I came here as a child who had to learn, and now I have returned with a lot of experience and maturity. The relationship I have with this club means a lot to me. I have supported "Chelsea" since childhood and now to come back here, try to help win trophies, is amazing."
