The Belgian national team will not undergo a change. It has been officially announced that the country's federation has signed a new contract with the national team coach Roberto Martinez. The current 46-year-old Spaniard's agreement with one of the strongest national teams on the planet was supposed to be valid until the end of this year's European Championship. However, due to the threat of the coronavirus pandemic postponing the tournament, R. Martinez did not have the opportunity to demonstrate his tactical abilities. The new contract will be valid until the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
