"Real" Madrid has announced that they have reached an agreement with center-back Raphael Varane on a new five-year contract. Therefore, fans will be able to see him in white jerseys until the summer of 2022. The contract will be officially presented at a press conference tomorrow at 2 p.m. Spain time. By signing it, the Frenchman will follow in the footsteps of Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Karim Benzema, and Marcos Llorente, who have also recently tied their futures to the "royal" club. Varane has been playing for "Real" since 2011 when he moved from his hometown club "Lens". Under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane, the 24-year-old player has firmly established himself in the starting lineup. In total, the defender has won 13 trophies with the Spanish champions, including three UEFA Champions League trophies.
