Having settled perfectly into the lineup of Sevilla's "Real Betis" team this season, Giovani Lo Celso will no longer return to Paris Saint-Germain - the Andalusians bought out his contract.
The 23-year-old midfielder was loaned out last summer for a fee of 3 million euros. The contract included an option for "Real Betis" to buy out the player's contract, which the Spaniards decided to exercise.
"Real Betis" acquired all his rights for a fee of 22 million euros. The player himself signed a contract with the new club until 2023, with a buyout clause of 100 million euros now included in his contract.
This season, G. Lo Celso played 41 games for "Real Betis", scoring 15 goals and providing four assists.
The Madrid team "Real" has already shown interest in his services, but "Real Betis" is not willing to let go of the Argentine without a buyout sum.
G. Lo Celso strengthened PSG in 2016. He played a total of 54 games for the Paris team and scored six goals.
