Real Madrid loaned midfielder Fernando Gago to the club.
The 25-year-old footballer practically did not play last season and only took to the field four times in the Spanish championship.
Gago arrived in Spain in January 2007 from Boca Juniors for 20 million euros.
On Wednesday, Real Madrid also loaned out midfielder Pedro Leon, who was sent to Getafe, while Royston Drenthe is close to reaching an agreement with Everton from Liverpool.
