Strengthening the defense line - the Italian team borrowed defender Simon Kjaer. After the season, the capital club will be able to buy out the Dane's contract for 6 million euros.

"I am proud and very happy. This is a great opportunity to rise to one of the strongest teams in Italy and all of Europe," Kjaer is quoted on the website of the Danish Football Federation.

The 22-year-old footballer started his career at the "Midtjylland" team, and in 2008 moved to "Palermo", where he played for two seasons. Then his career took him to Germany.

Last season in the German championship, Kjaer scored one goal in 32 matches.

Along with him, Miralem Pjanic, a defender from "Lyon", is also moving to "Roma". The French team received about 8.5 million euros for him.

In the "Ligue 1" championship, Pjanic scored four goals in 29 matches, 15 of which he started in the starting lineup.
