Official: "Roma" has a new coach

"Roma" has confirmed on their official website that the team's reins are taken over by the promising strategist from Portugal, Paulo Fonseca.

The 46-year-old Portuguese has been working with the Donetsk team "Šachtar" for the past three years. Over three seasons, he won seven titles.

The strategist has signed a two-year contract with "Roma", which includes the possibility of extending cooperation for additional years.

"I am excited and motivated by the task ahead of us. I can't wait to arrive in Rome, get to know the club and the fans. I believe that together we can create something special", - said P. Fonseca.

Portuguese has previously worked with teams such as "Braga", "Pacos Ferreira", "Porto", "Aves", "Pinhalnovense", "Dezembro" and "Odivelas".
