Argentine national team player dispelled all doubts about his future and extended his contract with Manchester City until 2021. Sergio Aguero extended his contract with the club for one year.
The striker first extended his contract with City in 2016, but it was never officially announced by either the player or the club. After the World Cup last summer, there were rumors that the striker wanted to return to his boyhood club Independiente. However, the Argentine enjoys life in Manchester, and his agents and the club have been finalizing the details of the contract extension in recent weeks.
After extending his contract, Aguero told the media: "I am grateful to the club, they have taken great care of me since the day I arrived here. Our team has a lot of talent, I believe we can be even better."
Sergio Aguero joined the ranks of the Citizens in the summer of 2011 and has scored 146 goals in over 210 Premier League matches since then.
