On Wednesday evening, WBA officially confirmed rumors circulating in the media — experienced Sam Allardyce is at the helm of the team. The 66-year-old Englishman signed an 18-month contract with the club currently occupying the last place in the „Premier“ league. S. Allardyce has previously coached clubs such as „Newcastle“, „West Ham United“, „Sunderland“, „Crystal Palace“ and „Everton“. The strategist also briefly served as the head coach of the England national team.
