"Stoke City" officially confirmed that they acquired 23-year-old forward Saido Berahino from "West Brom" club. "The Potters" paid 12 million pounds sterling for the English player. The footballer himself signed a contract valid until 2022. S. Berahino's future at "West Brom" club has been unclear for the past few years. Already in January of last year, the forward was linked with a departure, but stayed and played until now. "We have acquired a young English footballer who has already proven his worth playing in the Premier League," - these were the words spoken by the club chairman Tony Scholes after the acquisition of S. Berahino. S. Berahino was a product of the "West Brom" club's youth academy. In total, the Englishman played 121 matches for the team and scored 36 goals.
