"Barcelona" club announces that they have already reached a verbal agreement for a new contract with Sergio Busquets, and all signatures will be put in the closest days.
The Spanish national team's midfielder has been representing the Catalan club since 2008, and now his future is tied with them until 2021. Additionally, there will be an option to extend the cooperation for another two years in the contract.
The new buyout clause for Busquets is 200 million euros.
Being a graduate of "La Masia" academy, he has won six "La Liga" titles and three UEFA Champions League titles, as well as four Spanish King's Cups while playing for "Barça".
