Jurgen Klopp finally strengthened the defensive position in the club "Liverpool".
24-year-old Queens Park Ranger center-back Steven Caulker underwent a medical examination in Liverpool today and signed a loan agreement until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old player was loaned to Southampton with the same agreement for this season, but it was terminated by mutual agreement. S. Caulker has only played three matches in the Premier League so far, and he was not even included in the squad in the last two matches.
As known, "Liverpool" has major problems with their defense because two main center-backs of the team - Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren - are unable to play due to injury. However, J. Klopp received good news before the upcoming match against London's Arsenal - Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure have recovered and will likely be available for selection.
"Liverpool" showed interest in S. Caulker's services back when Brendan Rodgers was in charge.
