"Roma" officially confirmed that they have acquired world champion Steven N'Zonzi from "Sevilla".
The 29-year-old footballer arrived in Rome today and successfully passed his medical check-up. "Roma" paid 26.6 million euros for the Frenchman. The sum can increase up to 30 million euros depending on his and the team's results.
S. N'Zonzi signed a four-year contract himself.
The Frenchman played for "Sevilla" since 2015. He was attracted to Andalusia by Monchi, who now invited him to "Roma".
S. N'Zonzi scored eight goals in 136 matches for "Sevilla".
Previously, he has also played for "Stoke City", "Blackburn Rovers", and "Amiens".
