Gelzenkircheno "Schalke" announced the acquisition of "Sevilla" captain Coke. It is reported that the transfer cost 3 million euros.
The 29-year-old footballer has already agreed on personal contract terms and will undergo a medical examination in the near future.
The defender has been playing for Sevilla since 2011, when he transferred from "Rayo Vallecano". During this time, he won the UEFA Europa League three times.
This summer, several important players left the Spanish club. In addition to Coke, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Kevin Gameiro, Ever Banega, Jose Antonio Reyes, and Ciro Immobile also left.
Meanwhile, "Schalke" will add a third newcomer. Prior to this, the Germans acquired striker Breel Embolo and defender Naldo.
