Italy, which became the first coronavirus outbreak in Europe, is preparing for the resumption of the football season. On Thursday, the country's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora confirmed that the "Serie A" will return to stadiums on June 20th. However, Italian football fans can also mark June 13th on their calendars, as that day is planned for the second leg matches of the "Coppa Italia," though separate government approval is still needed for that. It is reported that "Serie A" teams will play matches every three days for the remainder of the season. The league's restart protocol states that if at least one player gets infected with coronavirus, not only he but the whole team will have to spend two weeks in quarantine. Currently, Turin's "Juventus" team is leading in the "Serie A" standings, with just one point ahead of Rome's "Lazio."
