"Sevilla" has reached an agreement with "Palermo" for the transfer of 27-year-old attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez to the Andalusian team, as reported on the official UEFA Europa League winners' website. F. Vazquez joined "Palermo" back in 2012, but was loaned out to Spain, specifically to the "Rayo Vallecano" club, during the same season. The Italian caught attention last season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 36 matches in the Serie A. The Italian, who can play in an attacking midfield position for Sevilla, will cost 15 million euros and will sign a five-year contract with the team. F. Vazquez will replace Argentine Ever Banega, who has moved to Inter Milan, in Sevilla's squad.
