Due to the highest positions in the Spanish leagues, "Sevilla" continues to strengthen its lineup this season. The Andalusian club officially announced that it has completed negotiations with Amsterdam's "Ajax" for the acquisition of 20-year-old Maximiliano Wober. He will arrive in Seville soon and will sign a long-term contract. According to unofficial data, "Sevilla" paid 10.5 million euros for the promising defender. The Austrian-born soccer player did not play long for "Ajax" - he arrived here in 2017 when he was acquired from Vienna's "Rapid". Initially a center-back, he played for the second team but soon got the chance to debut in the starting lineup. This season, M. Wober played 16 matches and helped the "Ajax" team reach the Champions League quarterfinals.
