"Southampton" team announced that Claude Puel will take over as their manager from the upcoming season. Former "Nice" strategist has signed a three-year contract and became the replacement for Ronald Koeman who left for Liverpool's "Everton". The 54-year-old specialist has spent his entire career in France - previously he also coached "Monaco", "Lille" and "Lyon". With Nice last season, he managed to secure the fourth place in the French championship. Puel's coaching staff at Southampton will include Eric Black and Pascal Plancque.
