"Southampton" club, recently separated from striker Graziano Pelle, was supplemented by Munich's "Bayern" talent Pierre-Emile-Hojbjerg.
The twenty-year-old, who spent last season on loan at "Schalke" in Gelsenkirchen, signed a five-year contract and became the second summer purchase of the "Saints".
The Dane represented the German champions since 2012, when he moved from his native country's "Brondby".
"I am very happy," said Hojbjerg. "This is a great opportunity for me. I can't wait to give my all to the club and show what I can do. They trust me, so I want to show that this decision is not a mistake."
The midfielder played 23 "Bundesliga" matches last season and made two assists.
