"Swansea City" announced on their official website that they have acquired 23-year-old center-back Mike van der Hoorn from "Ajax" in Amsterdam.
The transfer fee to the English "Premier" League club is not disclosed, but the player himself has signed a three-year contract with the "Swansea".
"I am delighted to join the "Swansea" club. Before coming here, I had a conversation with Leroy Fer ("Swansea" midfielder - ed.). He told me many positive things about this team and I am happy to play together with him", shared M. van der Hoorn.
The defender is a product of the "Utrecht" club, but joined "Ajax" in 2013. In total, he played 49 matches and scored four goals for the team from Amsterdam.
