Liverpool's "Everton" has confirmed that on July 1, when Tom Cleverley's contract with "Manchester United" expires, they will acquire the midfielder for five years without a transfer fee.
"Toffees" strategist Roberto Martinez worked at the English "Wigan" club and says he is delighted that he has become his first summer purchase.
"We are incredibly happy with Tom's arrival at 'Everton' and I can think of many reasons why our fans will be happy to have Tom represent us," the coach told the official club website.
"But the most important reason is that he fits perfectly with what we are trying to create here, as he has a lot of experience in the Premier League and his best years are still ahead of him."
"At 25, he represents the national team, has experience winning trophies and playing important roles in strong teams. Because I have worked with him before, I know what his character is like and I know that with the support of the 'Everton' fans, a special player will join our already intriguing team."
This season, Cleverley scored three times in 31 matches in the Premier League.
