The striker has long been linked with "Leicester City", and the "foxes" have actually made several offers. However, these were rejected. In winter, it was reported that the 28-year-old footballer was also of interest to London's "Arsenal". "The club is serious, and I want to stay here," Deeney told the official website. "I carefully listened to everything the club wanted to tell me. We thoroughly discussed everything, and it allowed me to sort out my thoughts." This season, in 38 "Premier League" matches, the striker scored 13 goals and provided eight assists.
