London's "Chelsea" secured at least one of the team's center-backs, whose contract expires this summer, will remain in the team for the next season. "Chelsea" officially announced that Thiago Silva's contract has been extended until 2023. After signing the contract, T. Silva said: "Playing for Chelsea is a true pleasure. I never thought I would play here for three years in this great club, so I am very happy to stay for another season. "I would also like to thank my family, the club, Marina, and Mr. Abramovich for this opportunity. I will continue to give my all to this club and its fans, who have always supported me since I arrived," said the Brazilian. "The aristocrats" this summer, however, risk saying goodbye to Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Antonio Rudiger, as their defenders' contracts expire next summer.
