Former St. Petersburg "Zenit" club, where defender Kostas Manolas played, has acquired another "Roma" football player - the Russians announced the acquisition of 23-year-old defensive midfielder Leandro Paredes. Although this Argentine had a successful career, the player himself decided to try himself in the Russian football league. It is reported that the defender will cost the "Zenit" club 23 million euros with additional bonuses and will sign a four-year contract. "L. Paredes" was acquired by "Roma" in the summer of 2014. Last season, the Argentine was not a regular starting player, but he played 41 matches and scored three goals. As mentioned earlier, the Argentine could have been the second purchase from the "Roma" team for the "Zenit" club, but K. Manolas at the last minute refused to move to Russia when he found out that his salary would be paid in rubles.
