"London's Tottenham" officially announced that they have acquired 23-year-old defender Vlad Chiriches from "Steaua" in Bucharest.
Speculation about a possible Romanian transfer to England had been circulating for a long time, and it was almost certain that the player would join "Spurs."
V. Chiriches cost "Tottenham" team 8.5 million pounds, and the defender most likely signed a four-year contract.
