Giovani Lo Celso will officially belong to London's Tottenham club from now on.
After Milan's Inter completed the deal for Christian Eriksen, Tottenham announced that they have acquired all rights to G. Lo Celso.
The 23-year-old Argentine joined Tottenham in the summer. He was initially supposed to play on loan until the end of the season, but the club was satisfied with the Argentine's performance and decided to buy out his contract from Seville's Real Betis in the middle of the season.
The defender agreed to a 4.5-year contract with Spurs.
G. Lo Celso arrived at Tottenham injured, but under Jose Mourinho's guidance, his role in the team has grown and he has already played in 20 matches, scoring two goals.
Unofficially, Tottenham had to pay £55 million for the Argentine.
Before moving to Spain, he also played for Paris Saint-Germain.
