Official: "Tottenham" has acquired M. Sissoko for 30 million pounds sterling

London's "Tottenham" confirmed the acquisition of 27-year-old Moussa Sissoko in the final minutes of the summer transfer window.

The future of the French national team defender was cloudy at "Newcastle United" since the European Championship. Initially, the Frenchman was linked with Madrid's "Real", but Florentino Perez did not take any serious action.

Today, M. Sissoko was reportedly considering a move to Liverpool's "Everton" before choosing "Tottenham". According to "Sky Sports", the "Toffees" had already reached an agreement with the "Magpies", but a call from the "Tottenham" club made M. Sissoko change his mind.

The cost of the defender for the "Tottenham" team will be 30 million pounds sterling. The player himself has committed to participate in the UEFA Champions League until 2021.

M. Sissoko joined the "Newcastle" club in 2013. During all these years, the defender played 133 matches and scored 12 goals.
