London's "Tottenham" club officially announced that they have acquired young forward Nacer Chadli from the Dutch team "Twente".
Andre Villas-Boas has been trying to sign a player from Belgium for some time, but the teams could not agree on the transfer fee. However, today it was finally confirmed that the deal has taken place.
As reported on the "Tottenham" website, 23-year-old Chadli will undergo a medical examination in the near future and join the team in Hong Kong.
Belgium national team member Chadli played for "Twente" for three seasons. During this time, the player appeared in 106 matches and scored 31 goals.
So far, the exact transfer fee has not been disclosed, but it is believed that the London team paid around 7-8 million euros for the forward.
