Official: UEFA has disqualified "Man City" from international tournaments for two seasons.

On Friday evening, UEFA announced that due to serious FFP (Financial Fair Play) violations, "Manchester City" club is banned from international tournaments for two seasons and also has to pay a fine of 30 million euros.

In the UEFA statement, it is declared that such penalties were imposed on the "City" club for financial and licensing violations committed from 2012 to 2016.

This decision can still be appealed to the sports arbitration court, and "Man City" immediately issued a statement confirming that actions will be taken as soon as possible.

Our club is disappointed but certainly not surprised by this UEFA decision. We have always wanted this investigation to be carried out by independent services, not by UEFA itself.

The whole process was initiated by UEFA itself, which made the decision. Now this harmful investigation has finally ended and "Man City" will do everything possible to have this situation examined by independent institutions as soon as possible.

"In the near future, we will turn to the sports arbitration court," the club's statement reads.

If the initial decision stands, "Man City" will have to miss the next two UEFA Champions League or Europa League seasons.

However, the "Premier" League will still have the same number of teams in these tournaments as before. This means that a team that finishes fifth in the league can qualify for the Champions League.
