Valdas Dambrauskas has a new career station.
A specialist from Lithuania officially took over the helm of the Crete OFI team.
OFI has been playing in the highest league in Greece for the past five years. In the 2019-20 season, this team managed to reach fifth place in the regular season, and last season they managed to fight for seventh place.
This season, the Crete team started quite poorly. After 9 rounds, OFI is in 11th place out of 14 teams.
Meanwhile, V. Dambrauskas has recently been linked with coaching duties at "Middlesbrough."
Alongside Dambrauskas, these specialists from Lithuania will also work in Crete: Marius Skinderis, Justinas Gasiūnas, and Jonas Skinderis.
The 45-year-old strategist also rejected an offer to become the head coach of the Lithuanian national team.
