"Manchester United" has confirmed that 34-year-old goalkeeper Victor Valdes is leaving on loan to "Standard" Liege. The Spanish goalkeeper's new career stop has been announced earlier, but only today the transfer was officially confirmed. V. Valdes will spend at least until the end of the season in Belgium. V. Valdes joined "Man Utd" on October 23, 2014. Louis van Gaal gave the goalkeeper the opportunity to recover from injury at the "Red Devils" club, but the Spaniard hardly had a chance to show himself in the main team. Most of the time, V. Valdes spent with the youth team and only appeared twice for the first team of "United".
