Official: V. Wanyama is moving to "Tottenham"

London's "Tottenham" have completed negotiations with "Southampton" and officially announced that the team is strengthened by defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama.

In the media, there have been rumors for some time that the 24-year-old Kenyan national team member would leave "Southampton". It was speculated that "Liverpool" could win the battle for him, but "Tottenham" informed on Thursday night that a five-year contract had been signed with the player.

It is believed that "Tottenham" paid around £13.5 million for V. Wanyama. In addition, he became the first purchase of "Spurs" this summer.

The African player started his career in Belgium, but in 2011 he joined Glasgow "Celtic" and finally after two years in Scotland arrived at the "Southampton" club.

In total, in his eleven seasons at "Saints" V. Wanyama played 92 matches and scored four goals.
