Official: "Valencia" acquired "West Ham" club's hunted M. Gomez

"Valencia" officially announced that 22-year-old Uruguayan Maxi Gomez will defend the club's colors next season. The striker who played for Vigo's "Celta" club this summer was also of interest to "West Ham". However, the "Hammers" managed to make an offer that satisfied both M. Gomez and "Celta". "Valencia" included Santi Mina in the deal and loaned Jorge Saenz for two seasons, also paying a sum of 14.5 million euros. The player himself signed a five-year contract with "Valencia". His contract will include an impressive release clause - 140 million euros. M. Gomez arrived in Spain in 2017. In two years, he played 73 matches and scored 30 goals. Before that, the Uruguayan played in his homeland, for the team "Defensor Sporting".
