Seville's "Real Betis" received a solid reinforcement - the team officially added Portugal's national team defensive midfielder William Carvalho.
The European champion signed a five-year contract with the Andalusian team. He arrives from the Lisbon "Sporting" team, with which he terminated his contract this summer due to the situation at the club.
W. Carvalho is highly regarded by the football community - not long ago, Premier League clubs, including "Manchester City" last summer, showed interest in him.
W. Carvalho spent a total of five years in the main "Sporting" team. During this period, the Portuguese player managed to play 190 matches and score 11 goals.
Real Betis, which demonstrated one of the most beautiful games in Spain last year, will compete in the UEFA Europa League tournament next season.
