Official: W. Mazzarri will lead Watford club next season

"Watford" decided to part ways with coach Quique Sanchez Flores, after a little over a week of sharing information from Goal.com sources that the Spaniard will be replaced by Walter Mazzarri. Long-awaited official confirmation was not needed. "Hornets" announced on their website that W. Mazzarri will become the new team coach. A three-year contract will be signed with him. The 54-year-old strategist has previously coached Genoa's "Sampdoria", "Napoli", and Milan's "Inter", and with "Hornets" his future is likely to be linked for three years. An interesting fact is that since 2012, when the Pozzo family took over the management of "Watford", Mazzarri will become the eighth coach at the helm of the team. The Italian led the Napoli team to second place in the "Serie A" in the same year and won the "Coppa Italia". However, things didn't go so well later on for him in the "nerazzurri" camp.
