Today it was officially confirmed that Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been loaned to Roma for another year.
The Polish national team member was already loaned to this club last year and played 42 matches last season. Although this summer, when the Italian team acquired another goalkeeper Alisson, there were doubts about Szczesny's future in the club, ultimately the team reached an agreement and the Polish goalkeeper will spend the coming season at Roma.
"I am very happy. After a good last season, I had the opportunity to return and I am very happy that the coach wanted me. I hope we can achieve even better results than the ones we demonstrated last year," Szczesny said to the club's website.
