"Watford" announces that they have agreed on the transfer of "Derby County" midfielder Will Hughes, who will sign a five-year contract.
The England U-21 international has long been linked with "Liverpool" and other "Premier League" clubs, but this transfer never happened.
The 22-year-old player has been playing for the "Derby" team for seven years. However, Hughes will now finally have the chance to experience playing in the highest English division.
In adult football, he has played almost 190 matches, so "Watford" hopes to receive a young, but also experienced central midfielder.
Currently, he represents his country in the championship taking place in Poland. He has played 17 matches for the U-21 national team and scored twice.
