"West Ham" official website informed that they have completed negotiations with "Marseille" for the transfer of 28-year-old winger Dimitri Payet to the "Hammers".
Rumors that the experienced Frenchman will move to "West Ham" have been circulating for some time. Today it was clarified that the club will pay 15 million euros to the French for the player.
D.Payet himself has signed a five-year contract with "West Ham" and will earn a weekly wage of 75,000 euros.
"Marseille" coach Marcelo Bielsa is expecting serious transfers in the summer, as earlier the club was also left by Andre-Pierre Gignac and Andre Ayew.
D.Payet played 38 matches this season in the "Marseille" squad, scoring seven goals and providing 21 assists.
