London's "West Ham United" club officially announced on Wednesday evening that the team has been joined by 27-year-old forward Mauro Zarate.
As reported, the former member of Milan's "Inter" has signed a three-year contract with the English capital team and will have the option to extend it for another year.
"I felt very happy to join this team," said M. Zarate. "It's a new opportunity for me and I want to make the most of it."
This season, the Argentine played for the "Velez Sarsfield" team, where he scored 19 goals in 36 games. Previously, the forward has worn the jerseys of "Inter" and "Lazio", as well as spent one season with "Birmingham City".
M. Zarate became the fourth Argentine to play for "West Ham" club. In the past, Lionel Scaloni, Javier Mascherano, and Carlos Tevez have also played for this team.
