"West Ham" confirmed on their official website that they have reached an agreement with 28-year-old Austrian national team forward Marko Arnautovič. Having worn the Stoke City jersey for the past four seasons, M. Arnautovič became the most expensive signing in the history of "The Hammers" - the club paid a fee of £25 million for him. The player himself signed a five-year contract with "West Ham". He was the third acquisition for the London team this summer - previously, the team reinforced with Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart. "I feel special being a player of West Ham club," said M. Arnautovič. "Everyone knows what a great and historic club West Ham is. I am happy to be a part of this club and I can't wait to start the season." M. Arnautovič arrived in the Premier League in 2013 when Stoke City acquired him from Werder Bremen. In total, the forward scored 26 goals in 145 matches played for the "Potters". The previous season was not the most successful for the Austrian in Stoke City - in 35 matches, he only managed to score seven goals and provide six assists.
