"West Ham" announced on their official website that they have completed negotiations with Turin's "Juventus" for the season-long loan of striker Simone Zaza. The 25-year-old striker will strengthen the "Hammers" for at least a season. For the season-long loan, "West Ham" will pay 5 million euros, and in 2017 summer they will have the option to acquire all rights to the Italian national team player for 20 million euros. "I would like to thank all the club staff and fans for the warm welcome. I wanted to start a new stage in my career and I believe this step was the right one," said S. Zaza in his first interview. The Italian, who joined "Juventus" in the summer of 2015, scored eight goals in 24 appearances last season. However, Massimiliano Allegri found it difficult to find room for the striker this season, especially with Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain, and Mario Mandzukic in the team. S. Zaza was the eleventh purchase for West Ham this summer transfer market. The "Hammers" spent around 60 million pounds sterling in total.
