London's "West Ham" confirmed that they acquired defender Angelo Ogbonna from Turin's "Juventus". However, the transfer fee was not disclosed.
The central defender signed a four-year contract with the "Hammers".
According to Goal.com, "West Ham" outbid "Southampton" and Liverpool's "Everton" for the Italian's signature. The same source reported that the English club paid nearly 10 million euros, but they may have to pay 5 million euros in various add-ons.
Ogbonna, who did not establish himself in the ranks of the Italian champions, became the third purchase of the new coach of the London club, Slaven Bilic. Pedro Obiang and Dimitri Payet have already joined the team during this offseason.
