Drama at the future of 29-year-old Dimitri Payet in "West Ham" club is over - the Frenchman is returning to "Marseille" for 25 million pounds sterling.
The French national team winger has refused to play for the "Hammers" since January 12, so he has neither trained nor participated in matches with West Ham since then.
Slaven Bilić stated that D. Payet wouldn't be sold this January, but the situation has changed. "Marseille" negotiated with "West Ham" throughout this transfer period and finally reached an agreement.
D. Payet played for two years at "Marseille" before joining "West Ham". After becoming a true discovery in the Premier League last season, the Frenchman did not demonstrate his best sports form this season, but the club also showed poor results.
In total, D. Payet managed to play 60 matches and score 15 goals within the ranks of the London club.
